We conducted four training sessions in the area of health with health workers from the indigenous territory. Two people from each of the 12 villages in the indigenous territory participated in each course, forming a group of 24 young future health workers from their respective municipalities.
The project
The goal is to educate and train a group of young people in primary health care while promoting the ancestral wisdom of the Huni Kuín people’s forest medicine. We have conducted four health training sessions with health workers in the indigenous territory.
Two people from each of the 12 villages in the indigenous territory participated in each course, forming a group of 24 young future health workers from the territory. With support from health training, each village now has two people with basic first-aid knowledge. They are the future health workers of their communities
